Julie was named a 2012 Minnesota Rising Star attorney, an honor bestowed on no more than 2.5% of the attorneys in Minnesota. Julie balances her practice with a variety of litigation and transactional experience, including prevailing against Wells Fargo Bank in a jury trial in 2011. Julie practices primarily in the areas of business, family, and employment law.
Julie is a native of Big Lake, Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, in 2002 and served as a law clerk for the Honorable James W. Hoolihan prior to joining the firm in 2005.
Julie serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Minnesota Boys and Girls Club and is the Chairperson of the Success By 6 committee for the United Way. In her spare time, Julie enjoys gardening, photography and spending time along the North Shore with her husband, Aaron.
